
As you can see on the picture above we have 2 products with different packaging. On the left, we have the simple lotion which cost 50% off. The brand is not considered to be luxury, therefore, the company had to promote the product in order for people to buy it. On the right side, we can see the luxury lotion from Chanel. There was no need for chanel to promote the product on a 50% off sale. They designed the package and made efforts for it to look attractive so it will make its target market want to buy Chanel luxury lotion.
