GM, Chrysler cut costs, global auto outlook dims

GM and Chrysler have started to take steps towards closing jobs and plants. In addition, automakers from Europe to Asia forecast a serious downfall in the future. Per GM, they have been forced to cut down costs more aggressively, as they are struggling for their survival. The economy has a part of it off course, but I think that GM is using the economy as an excuse for not marketing themselves properly.
